How do I search for sunglasses on giarre.com ?

You can browse and search within our catalogue in two ways. The basic way is by selecting the brand you are interested in from the list shown on the home page.
At this stage you can view all the models of the selected collection or you can narrow it down by selecting the type, e.g. sunglasses or eyeglasses
and male, female or unisex.

The advanced way is to search through our complete catalogue using the Search page, where you can set the options to run the search: Model, Brand, Gender,
Shape, Price, etc. The search will run through all the collections with the selected options.

What are the “Lens Diameter”, “Nose Bridge Length”, “Bar Length” measures in every eyewear page ?

Those three measures, expressed in millimetres, allow to understand the size of sunglasses and eyeglasses. The most important is the Lens Diameter.

Lens Diameter + Nose Bridge + Lens Diameter = Frame Width.

Do you sell frames only, or must they be purchased with lenses?

giarre.com offers eyeglasses and sunglasses, and it is also possible to purchase prescription lenses.

  • For sunglasses with prescription lenses you can receive a free prescription quote: giarre.com lens and prescription

  • For reading eyeglasses you can receive a pair of free prescription lenses if your prescription values are within certain limits or you will receive
    a free prescription quote for your lenses. When you go on the giarre.com web site and you order a pair of reading glasses, if you require prescription
    lenses you will be asked to give your actual prescription and it will then tell you if the lenses will be free or if not that you will receive a quote.

I am looking for a brand or product that is not shown on your website. Do you carry it ?

We carry the most famous designer names and we usually show only the latest collections. If you are looking for a particular style from a past
collection or of a brand not listed, ask us We carry an extensive range of brands.

How can I solve my technical problems ?

Are you sunglasses original ?

We have been in the eyewear business since 1928 and on the Internet since 1997. We have never dealt with fakes, imitations, non-original sunglasses.

All sunglasses purchased from us come with their original case (hard or soft, depending on the frame) and all the papers from the manufacturer or the official
distributor.

In every country in which giarre operates, it guarantees to provide products with a significant discount on the retail price originally indicated
by the designer. This is because we buy directly from the producers or distributors in quantities that allow us to receive discounts
However, in every occasion you can always be certain of buying at convenient prices. Remember that the giarre on all articles are always already discounted.

Which payment method I can use at giarre.com ?

How much does the shipping cost ?

We can ship your giarre.com order by  Express Courier or Air Mail. Price difference is little between the two methods so we strongly suggest you choose
Express Courier because Express Courier shipments are traceable and insured against damages and losses.  We invite you to browse the

Will I be charged for custom duties ?

It depends on which country you are from. European Union customers do not have to pay for custom duties.
In all other countries , your purchase will be taxed by your Custom at your country’s import rates. Import rates can be high: please

We prefer online orders because they are faster and more accurate, but if you prefer an offline channel you can order via fax 24hrs a day using one of the

For an increased security, we usually do not accept online orders with a shipping address in a different city or country than where the card is issued.

When will my order arrive ?

Delivery time = processing time + shipping time.

Our average processing time is usually 48-72 hours for stock items and 1-2 weeks for backorder items.
Express Courier  shipments to Europe and to North America take 1-2 days, up to 2/4 days for all the other destinations. Sometimes,
shipping time can be delayed by your country’s custom controls.

How can I return my purchase ?

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you may return your unused item and we will refund your credit card or we will give you

How are giarre.com orders packaged ?

Sunglasses and Eyeglasses are delicate article so we put our efforts to package them to not be damaged while traveling. Every article comes
with its original case, usually a hard case, sometimes a soft bag, and with a microfiber cloth to clean them.

What if my order gets lost or damaged during the shipping (Express Courier)?

We always, strongly, suggest Express courier as shipping method because it is faster, it is traceable, and, most important, it is ensured against damages and
losses. If your package gets lost, or it is delivered damaged, we will handle the case with the Express courier and replace your order immediately.

How can I track the shipment ?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation receipt showing the Express courier AWB number. You can track your package from the express
courier website or by clicking the link provided in the receipt.

      For prescription lenses we need 7 days + some days before receiving the frame for Manufacturer.

      We usually use express courier like as DHL, UPS, etc.
