Collection: Caroline Abram Sunglasses

Eyewear designer Caroline Abram is known for her imaginative and colorful glasses and handmade accessories. The brand was born in Senegal from the idea of an optician family. Now the headquarters are in Paris, where the design of accessories and glasses continues to expand.

Caroline's inspiration comes from the diversity of her own origins (Caribbean, India, France and Poland). In 1998 Caroline began designing jewelry and accessories for the eyewear market.
Raised in Dakar, Senegal, she fell in love with people and their culture. She trained a group of women in Dakar to manufacture her accessories using different materials such as resin, silver, wood and semi-precious stones.

In 2008 Caroline launched its range of sunglasses frames inspired by the ancient charm of South Beach Miami. The characteristic of these glasses are the Sixties inspiration, the vintage and colored shapes and the frames able to enchant opticians all over the world.
Caroline has also won numerous awards for her always sophisticated and original sunglasses models. Its collections are dedicated to women, because they were produced by them right from the start. Women, especially the Senegalese ones, according to Caroline, are the only ones able to combine the brightest colors in a perfect and balanced way.
What Caroline Abram wanted to produce in her sunglasses lines is something that was far from everything she saw in the stores.
Caroline Abram sunglasses are also affected by American influence, especially Florida, which is always so sunny and colorful. The frames offer light and bichromatic colors, cheerful, fresh and lively frames.

The lively designer describes her concept of the woman wearing the Caroline Abram frames. "The complexity of a woman is always in my mind. She wants everything, and then she doesn't want anything anymore. In French we call it "contrire " (opposite). She is independent and funny in everything she does, maybe even a little stubborn. The designs include all the characteristics of women, without age barriers. My frames are always wearable, no woman will ever feel out of place. Freshness and happiness: that's what is important to me. People want personality."
