Collection: Prescription Lenses

Prescription lenses are those lenses that allow you to correct your visual defects. There are multiple types of prescription lenses, for all your needs:
  • Single Vision Lenses
  • Progressive Lenses
  • Office Lenses
Single Vision Lenses: Single vision lenses, also called monofocal lenses, are a type of glasses lens that correct vision for a single distance. That means that they work for people that are nearsighted or farsighted, but not for those who are both. They are crafted to help people see better at farther or shorter distances (nearsighted or farsightedness), but never both. All our lenses are completed with all the treatments: anti-glare, anti-scratch, dirt-resistant coating and UV protection.

Progressive Lenses: Progressive lenses, also called multifocal lenses, are a type of lens specifically for people who need corrective lenses to see distant and close up objects. These lenses allow you to see clearly at multiple distances without a bifocal line. The power of Progressive lenses changes gradually from point to point on the lens surface, providing the correct lens power for seeing objects clearly at virtually any distance. These lenses do not strain the vision, and do not cause unnatural movements of the neck and head. Also Progressive lenses are completed with all the treatments: anti-glare, anti-scratch, dirt-resistant coating and UV protection.

Office Lenses: If you wear progressives, you know what it's like to search for that "sweet spot" of clear vision when doing certain up-close activities like computer work or interacting with others for long periods. Our Office lenses are designed to supplement your standard progressives, providing more comfort and visual clarity in these special situations at work or at home. If we want to stay focused for extended periods while using computers, smartphones, tablet PCs or other devices at work, we need good vision at near to intermediate distances. This field of vision, between a half meter and two metres, is the one we use most often in our daily routine. Reading glasses and even progressive lenses are not ideal for this field of vision.
The new Office lenses are tailored to your specific needs and allow for a relaxed posture. This lets you see and work at your best in precisely the range of vision your job requires. Your head and neck will be in a natural, relaxed position the whole day through. Also Office lenses are completed with all the treatments: anti-glare, anti-scratch, dirt-resistant coating and UV protection.

Monofocal and progressive lenses can also be ordered in their Transitions version. These lenses adapt automatically to any lighting condition. Clear inside and dark abroad. Transitions lenses are dynamically activated, ensuring well-being and visual comfort in all light conditions. There are two types of Transitions lenses:

  • Transitions Signature VII: These lenses have been designed for the multitude of conditions that wearers experience. Perfectly transparent in the interior, they automatically darken in the sun. Ideal lens for those seeking greater visual comfort with every light and often moves from indoors to outdoors.
  • Transitions XTRActive: Extra dark outdoors to protect your eyes from the brightnest sun, even in the hottest conditions. Darken behind the windshield to protect drivers’ eyes from sunlight. Indoors they remain clear with a hint of protective tint.

Our laboratories are able to create Single Vision and Progressive lenses also for sunglasses. Most of the models you find on the website can be ordered together with prescription lenses, also fashion models (big frames), and sport models (wrap around frames).
